Hi everyone! I am Julie Fe, 22 years old, from General Santos City.
Until now overwhelming parin ito for me knowing na ordinary teacher lang ako with extraordinary determination.
During collaboration process, I noticed halos lahat ng applicants matagal na sa service or mga master teachers na din. Of course nakaka intimidate since 2yrs pa lang ako in teaching, walang masters degree and very young pa daw. Pero iba yung motto ko eh. It's not if it's meant to be it will be. It's if you want it, GO GET IT!
During the 2 day job fair, I didn't receive interview invitation. But ano nga motto ko? If you want it, get it!
Due to my extraordinary determination, I searched for APS schools' directory and sent an email to each school. Haha. Opo lahat ng school even middle school and high school. Then 2 schools replied. Yung una parang paasa, the second one is HS.
Syempre alam ko tagilid ako since elementary ako and may kasabayan daw sa interview. Tapos parang wala na.
October 31, the HR notified me through email about new job match. Then I clicked applied and looked again for the contact info of that school and sent an email. November 1, I received an email containing interview schedule. I asked mam Gemma first if makakahabol pa ba kung mabibigyan ng job offer. And Yes.
Interview Time
Since holiday, I have to go home sa hometown ko dito sa Sultan Kudarat.
While on the bus, I kept on praying na sana ito na. Then I remembered, mahina signal ng wifi sa bukid namin!
Tapos wala pang plain background and maraming tao sa bahay since may mga sales lady kami na stay in and may pakain ang mayora ng bahay. So 7pm pa lang. Meeting na kmi na pagpatak ng 10pm wala ng magcoconnect sa wifi. AKO lang. Haha.
Tapos ang laptop ko hindi maganda camera. Ang laptop din ng father ko ma ooff kung hindi ichacharge. So no choice ako. Thanks to my Oppo cellphone na maraming crack ang screen at cooperation ng supportive family ko.
I really cant explain why I was very nervous before, during and after the interview.
My brother offered me a glass of chocolate drink and said Be Honest lang. Then nilagyan nya ng piso yung paa ko pampawala daw ng kaba. Haha as if effective.
First question pa lang sa interview. Asked about my experience relating to the position that I am applying, nawala na ako. Pero I tried to calm my self and clear my mind.
The interview lasted for 26mins. Matagal. After the interview. I texted Susselle first. I told her na sobra kaba ko and not sure what would be the result. Then I prayed really hard before sleep.
Early this morning Someone called me and asked regarding the Interview. Sabi ko di ko alam basta grabe kaba ko kagabi. Without knowing na may offer na pala ako!
