Are former J1 visa holders QUALIFIED TO APPLY FOR J1 VISA if they haven't taught while fulfilling the two-year home requirement?
Is teaching as a virtual tutor or ESL teaching OK?

Teaching means full-time classroom teaching in either public or private schools.
Virtual tutoring or teaching doesn’t count.
English as a second language teaching may count if it is in an academic classroom setting – not if it is an after-school or other part-time program.
Will teaching in a private school qualify after the 2-year rule?
